Nugget #41 - Focus more on you than anyone else

In my humble opinion, the most important aspect of dating is mastery of yourself. Ironically, when you focus on bettering yourself, other people focus more on how they can better you too.

Be your very best self instead of trying to appeal to what you think other people want. There is nuance here. On one hand you want to be aware of what is capturing the attention of people/customers you want to attract. On the other hand you want to make sure you self/company value presentation is genuine.

Think, "how can I be the best partner", not "who could be my next sale". When you are programmed to see the world in terms of what it can give you, it's an open road towards narcissism. The world is not designed to serve you. Vice versa. As you provide your unique value to the world, you are inherently rewarded. When you're focused cultivating the unique value you/your company provides you can create unique value for the people/customers in your life.
